Sarah has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago and over ten years’ experience in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining SBM Legal in 2016, Sarah was employed in the litigation and employment team of an Auckland law firm, and in the dispute resolution team of a national law firm.
Sarah has broad advocacy experience and advises clients on a range of employment matters including personal grievances, disciplinary matters, health and safety, restructuring and redundancy. She has represented clients in numerous employment mediations, the Employment Authority, the District and High Courts of New Zealand as well as the London Fitness to Practice Panels for the UK General Medical Council and the Royal Commission on the Pike River Coal Mine Tragedy.
Sarah’s broad experience leads to a practical approach to solving employment issues.
